MANILA, Philippines – On Day 14 of impeachment trial, prosecution counsel Lorna Kapunan says the panel would proceed with the presentation of documents containing acknowledgment receipts, but would not identify each document at this stage because the defense had said it lacked enough lawyers to stipulate on the exhibits. Kapunan maintained that this would not deprive the defense of due process, noting that defense lawyers would still have the opportunity to confirm or comment on the documents when the prosecution formally offers them as evidence.
