NEW YORK, August 11. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces have stopped publishing data on Russian missile launches amid Kiev’s shortage of interceptor missiles, Bloomberg reported.

The agency noted that, contrary to previous practice, the Ukrainian Air Force did not specify the number of missiles fired toward Ukraine in its report for last night. A source at the agency confirmed that the air defense forces had changed the format of their reports, calling the move a "security measure" without providing further details.

According to the agency, the changes came a few days after Ukraine’s air defense forces failed to intercept a single missile launched by the Russian Armed Forces on the night of August 5. A similar situation occurred on the night of July 30, when Ukrainian air defenses failed to intercept a single Russian Tsirkon hypersonic missile.

Ukraine has recently been facing a shortage of interceptor missiles. In particular, Kiev is trying to obtain new shipments of missiles for its Patriot air defense systems. The British newspaper Financial Times reported that US President Donald Trump, during a meeting with Vladimir Zelensky, refused to supply hundreds of interceptor missiles for the Patriot systems. For its part, the European Commission has called on all EU countries that still have air defense missiles to supply them to the Kiev regime. According to US media reports, US stockpiles of interceptor missiles have declined significantly amid the war with Iran.
