The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm forecast for 11 Telangana districts for Wednesday (July 22, 2026).

According to IMDs latest bulletin, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem and Khammam districts. Additionally, strong surface winds are very likely to prevail at isolated pockets in remaining districts of the State.

Hyderabad weather forecast

Hyderabad city and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will have a generally cloudy sky. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds are very likely to occur in parts of the city. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 28℃ and 22℃ respectively,” as per the bulletin.
