As part of Operation Toofan, the Statewide anti-narcotics campaign, the Calicut Forum for IT (CAFIT), in association with Government Cyberpark, UL Cyberpark, and HiLite Business Park, will form a human chain against drug abuse on August 13. District Police Chief (Kozhikode City) A.P. Shoukathali will flag off the event on the premises of Government Cyberpark and UL Cyberpark at Nellikode at 4.30. p.m.

A press release said that participants would take a pledge against drug abuse and carry the message, “Say No to Drugs, Yes to Life.” IT professionals, students, volunteers, and members of the public have been invited to participate.
