Serhii Starikov, head of the Shevchenkove community, reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

“Today at 9:30 a.m., a strike was carried out near the local market in the village of Shevchenkove. A shopping complex, neighboring buildings, and residential homes were damaged. A man born in 1950 and a woman born in 1960 were injured,” the official said.

At the time of the strike, people were at the market, Starikov noted.

According to him, the Russians used “Banderole” munitions.

“The security situation in the community remains difficult. There is a constant threat of attacks using drones or guided aerial bombs. There is also a threat of remote mining of transportation routes between settlements,” Starikov added.

As previously reported, on August 6, a 49-year-old man was wounded in the village of Shevchenkove, Kupiansk District, Kharkiv region, as a result of Russian shelling.
