iMBC Awards is an annual awards program hosted by iMBC Entertainment, the digital media arm of Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC), one of South Korea’s major broadcasting networks.
This is not the first time Chiu was honored in a South Korea-based awards event. In 2024, she won the Outstanding Asian Star award at the Seoul International Drama Awards for her portrayal of Juliana Lualhati in the series “Linlang.”
Chiu, one of the mainstays of the ABS-CBN noontime program “It’s Showtime,” marked her 20th anniversary in show business last June. /edv
