CITY OF SAN FERNANDO—The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Pampanga declared the province under a state of calamity in its regular session on Wednesday to be able to immediately respond to the needs of flood victims in 287 barangays in 17 towns and cities, Vice Gov. Dennis Pineda announced. The provincial legislative board made the declaration at the request of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) chaired by Gov. Lilia Pineda.
