MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) collected P2.003 trillion from January to July 2026, going beyond its P1.990 trillion goal for the period by P13.53 billion, or 0.68 percent, according to a statement it issued on Wednesday. The seven-month collection was also P102.60 billion higher than the same period last year, representing a 5.4 percent year-on-year growth. According to Commissioner Charlito Martin R.
