Holidaying like a celeb is the dream: honeymooning across Italy a la Dua Lipa and Callum Turner, cruising the French Riviera like Leonardo DiCaprio, or soaking up Dubai like a footballer or Hollywood star.

But what if you could go one step further – and actually stay in a celebrity's home?

From sprawling estates to secluded villas, these properties offer the kind of luxury most of us can only dream about – and they're available to book.

There is, of course, one catch: the prices can be eye-watering. After all, these are très chic properties where the stars themselves have stayed, lived and entertained.

A very royal Welsh estate

CARMARTHENSHIRE, WALES

Llwynywermod is a farmhouse in Carmarthenshire that was bought for £1.2million by the Duchy of Cornwall in 2007.

It is used regularly as a retreat in Wales by the King.

Ownership of the three-bedroom farmhouse and its 192 acre estate passed to Prince William when he took over the Duchy of Cornwall from his father on the late Queen's death.

Nowadays, you can book parts of the establishment. For instance, Llwynywermod Estate's West Cottage – which sleeps four – is a 17th-century stone retreat that's perfect for a Welsh getaway.

Per night, expect to pay between £250 and £400, while a week will cost around £1,750 to £2,800 with Sawday's.

Alan Carr's Ayton Castle Estate Glamping

Alan Carr's Scottish pad, Ayton Castle, is now open for glamping in its grounds

Alan Carr bought Ayton Castle, which had an asking price of £3.25 million, at the start of 2026 after his Celebrity Traitors win.

Now, he's sharing the love with his fans.

Set within 160 acres of Scottish Borders parkland, there are luxury bell tents you can hire, set against the majestic landscape.

An hour from Edinburgh, the five-metre tents sleep up to four guests and are fully furnished.

On site, there are wellness offerings, sauna and cold water sessions, and guided movement classes you can enjoy – as well as wildlife watching, walks and immersion in nature.

Tents start from £140 a night.

George Michael's The Pool House at Mill Cottage

The Pool House at Mill Cottage stands on the grounds of the late George Michael's home in Oxfordshire.

And for fans of the pop icon, there's great news – you can book a stay.

From £360, the property, which sleeps up to four guests, can be booked on Airbnb.

The listing says: 'The Pool House at Mill Cottage is a truly unique riverside retreat offering a luxurious and private escape. With exclusive access to a beautifully heated pool (open April 1 to October 1), it’s the perfect spot to unwind, swim, and soak up the serene surroundings.

'The open-plan lounge and kitchen offer a stylish, modern space to relax and entertain, with large windows looking directly onto the pool. There is a grand fireplace, perfect for cosy evenings.'

It is located a few minutes’ walk from the village of Goring-on-Thames and its train station, making it ideal for exploring the local area.

Sting and Trudie Styler's Villa Il Palagio

TUSCANY, ITALY

Sting and Trudie Styler's Tuscan manor is available to rent - for a hefty price tag

In 1997, Sting and Trudie Styler bought Il Palagio (the palace), a 16th-century 900-acre estate in Tuscany.

The property boasts a lake, several guest houses, a swimming pool and a chapel which has been converted into a meditation space.

There is even a vineyard that produces organic wines named after his songs, including Message In A Bottle.

Its website says: 'The private home of Sting and Trudie Styler, it is the favoured retreat for their friends and growing family. This truly remarkable sixteenth-century estate nestled amongst the vineyards of the Chianti region is now available as an events venue and bespoke holiday destination.'

Renting the main villa and its guest houses costs from £28,000 a night, according to Abercrombie and Kent Villas.

Leonardo DiCaprio, 432 Hermosa Estate

Leonardo DiCaprio's 432 Hermosa Estate is an oasis of calm

Leonardo DiCaprio's 432 Hermosa Estate is available to book – starting from around $3,750 (£2,784) a night.

The private estate is located on a secluded 1.3-acre desert oasis compound.

It features six bedrooms, a guest house, swimming pool, tennis courts and all the trimmings you'd expect – including a piano, fireplace and cocktail bar.

The area is packed with celebrity abodes, past and present – holiday homes were used nearby by stars including Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Cary Grant, Dean Martin, Liberace and Elvis Presley.

Keith Richards, Rocky Point

TURKS & CAICOS ISLANDS

Parrot Cay in the Turks and Caicos is available to rent

Keith Richards owns a beachfront retreat, Rocky Point, on Parrot Cay in the Turks and Caicos.

The three-bedroom villa is embedded in the Caribbean landscape, and features a private butler, water activities and access to a wellness spa.

It sleeps up to six people, and provides direct access to the ocean.

There is also a verandah, outdoor sundeck with loungers and a private infinity pool.

Rates are available on request, but reports indicate it can start from $4,500 (£3,342) per night.
