This evening on a pier in NYC at an event hosted by Trevor Noah, Google will reveal its latest Pixel lineup, as well as the Pixel Watch 5 and some new accessories including the first ever Pixel Tag.

Joining Noah at Made by Google will be the NBA’s Stephen Curry, Alex Cooper of Call Her Daddy fame, cricketer Shubman Gill, and actress Ayami Nakajo. And, we suspect, there will be an additional product or two that has not been announced yet.

This is what we know so far.

A pack of new Pixels

It’s been nearly a full decade since the Pixel debuted in October 2016 and it’s come a long way in that time.

This year there are four models: the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. They’re powered by Tensor G6, which Google says runs the latest Gemini Nano model and gives them a speed boost of 25% for web browsing and 15% for app launching compared to performance with the Tensor G5.

The Pixels all start at 256GB of storage. Pixelsnap is built-in and the entire line is Qi 2.2 25W compatible, which is new to the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro.

The Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL are all thinner than their predecessors, with a camera bar that is considerably slimmed down and has edge-to-edge glass across it. The camera bar is built to sit flush with Made by Google cases to prevent wobble on flat surfaces.

But the biggest change to the camera bar is one that is universal to the Pixel 11 series: the addition of HiLight, a glowing dot that cycles through a rainbow of patterns for notifications and to indicate what Gemini is doing without having to glance at the screen.

As for the cameras themselves, the Pixel 11 features a 48MP main sensor , a 10.8MP 5x optical telephoto lens (up to 30x Super Res Zoom), a 13MP ultrawide, and a 10.5MP front-facing camera with autofocus. The Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL have a new 50MP main sensor, a 48MP ultrawide with macro focus, a new 48MP 5x telephoto lens, and a 42MP front camera. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold: combines a 48MP main sensor, a 10.8MP 5x optical telephoto lens, a 10.5MP ultrawide, and dual 10MP selfie cameras.

The Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL have a Super Actua display of up to 3,600 nits with a new anti-scratch display coating. Both displays on the Pixel 11 Pro Fold are also 3600 nits, which is 20% brighter than last year’s model.

Google says that the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is its most durable foldable. It has an IP68 rating and a glass fiber composite back cover. The gearless hinge has a larger bend radius than that on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold and a thicker inner glass layer to minimize display crease visibility.

Colorwise, the Pixels range from subtle to splashy. The Pixel 11 is available in the neutral Frost and Obsidian and vibrant Pistachio and Hibiscus. The Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL come in Canyon, Fog, Olive, and an all-matte Obsidian. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold comes in Obsidian and Olive.

As with the Pixel 10 series, the Pixel 11, Pro, and Pro XL are eSIM-only in the US, while Canadian and international models have a physical SIM tray. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold has a physical SIM tray in all markets.

Each Pixel comes with seven years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates. The Pro models also come with six months of Google AI Pro, which includes higher usage for Gemini, 5TB of cloud storage, and Google Health Premium.

The Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold are available for pre-order today starting at $899, $1,099, $1,299, and $1,899 respectively. They’ll be on shelves on Aug. 20.

A Pixel Watch with enhanced health tracking

Health and wellness are at the forefront with the Google Pixel Watch 5. It introduces tracking of blood pressure trends and insulin resistance. The latter is done through monitoring heart rhythm, sleep quality, and daily movements. Google says its insulin resistance trend metric has been validated against traditional laboratory results, but it also cautions that it is not a prescreener for diabetes nor is it intended to monitor glucose levels in real time.

Sleep tracking on the Pixel Watch 5 has gotten enhancements with minute-by-minute Sleep Breathing Quality monitoring, Bedtime Automations, and Smart Wake alarms designed to optimize rest.

The Pixel Watch 5 is powered by the Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 chip for 20% faster processing and has an improved Actua 360 display. It delivers up to 30 to 40 hours of battery life with 15-minute quick charging,

The Pixel Watch 5 comes in Obsidian, Fog, Olive, and Canyon.

The 41mm model is $399 and the 45mm one is $429, with pre-orders opening Aug.12. There’s a Stephen Curry edition for $579 that releases in September.

A tracker to tag along

Google has its first tracker in the Pixel Tag. It works via the Android Find Hub network.

The Pixel Tag has an onboard speaker that sounds to help you find it. And it also has a button you can press on the tag itself to find your phone.

The Pixel Tag is made of stainless steel and has an IP67 rating. Its battery should last for a year and is replaceable.

The Pixel Tag will be available on Nov. 11 for $29 each or $99 for a four-pack.

Pixel Buds and accessories too

Alongside all this, the Pixel Buds 2 have a new Olive colorway.

In September, a software update will roll out for the Pixel Buds 2 and Pixel Buds 2a that will bring dynamic active noise cancellation that automatically adjusts for changes in seal to maintain sound isolation. Gemini audio control will allow for modifying settings with voice commands. Integration with the Pixel Watch through Pixel Sleep Sync pauses music, disables touch controls, and silences notifications when sleep has been detected. And Live Translate will work with just a tap on the Pixel Buds themselves.

There’s also a line of Pixelsnap cases and Pixelsnap Ring Stands in colors to match all the new Pixel devices.
