According to Ukrinform, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this on Telegram.
"According to the investigation, throughout August 12, 2026, Russian forces attacked settlements in the Kherson region using aircraft, artillery, and various types of drones," the statement said.
As of 17:30, authorities had recorded three civilian deaths and 20 injuries resulting from Russian aggression.
In particular, two people were killed in Kherson overnight as a result of a massive attack by strike drones. At the same time, four residents of the city were injured. During the day, a woman in the regional capital sustained injuries incompatible with life as a result of an enemy FPV drone strike.
Another nine civilians were injured by Russian drones in Kherson, Shyroka Balka, and Vysoke. Among the wounded was an employee of a local firefighting unit.

According to the prosecutor's office, seven local residents in Stepanivka and Chornobaivka were also injured as a result of an airstrike.
Private and apartment buildings, warehouses, service and passenger vehicles were also damaged.
Under the procedural supervision of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into suspected war crimes.
As Ukrinform reported, on the night of August 12, Russian forces launched 15 Shahed-type UAVs at Kherson in less than two hours.
