Russia has lost an estimated 1,434,690 troops in its full-scale war against Ukraine since February 24, 2022, including 1,460 killed or wounded over the past 24 hours.
The updated figures were published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook and reported by Ukrinform.
According to the General Staff, Russia's total combat losses as of July 22, 2026, also include: 12,191 tanks (+28), 24,994 armored combat vehicles (+12), 46,570 artillery systems (+78), 1,931 multiple launch rocket systems (+3), 1,515 air defense systems (+2), 438 aircraft, 354 helicopters, 1,994 ground robotic systems (+13), 423,588 operational-tactical UAVs (+1,688), 4,936 cruise missiles (+3), 34 warships and boats, 2 submarines, 124,243 vehicles and fuel tankers (+541), 4,453 units of special military equipment (+3).
The General Staff noted that the figures are being updated.
Earlier, Ukrinform reported that 211 combat engagements between Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian troops were recorded on July 22.
