TUGUEGARAO CITY — Two raptors caught separately at Hacienda Intal in the Cagayan municipality of Baggao were recently turned over to the Rogelio Baggayan Nature Park and Wildlife Center in this city. One of the raptors, a Brahminy Kite (Haliastur indus), was rescued in Zone 2 of Hacienda Intal when it flew inside the house of Florante Castillo. The Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office in Baggao took custody of the bird from the homeowner and handed it to the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office in Alcala town for care and supervision.
