MANILA, Philippines — The number of beneficiaries of the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Walang Gutom Program (WGP) who experienced hunger declined by 6.7 percentage points, from 33.6 percent to 26.9 percent, according to the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey. Commissioned by Globe, the SWS survey covered 2,400 WGP beneficiary households.
