A 52-year-old electrician was killed when a college bus hit his two-wheeler in Kakkalur near Tiruvallur town.

The victim was identified as Rajendran, 52, of Kakkalur near Tiruvallur. He had dropped his grandchild at a private school in Kakkalur on his two-wheeler and was on his way to work. While riding near the Kakkalur weighbridge, a private college bus moving in the same direction hit Rajendran’s two-wheeler. Rajendran lost his balance, fell to the ground, and the rear wheel of the bus ran over him, killing him on the spot.

Upon receipt of information, the Tiruvallur taluk police recovered the body and sent it to the Tiruvallur Government Medical College Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The police have registered a case and an investigation is currently under way.
