Nicole Kidman has revealed her secret love of raving in Ibiza and how she goes incognito by wearing a brunette wig and sunglasses.

The actress, 59, shared her holiday schedule while on the party island, which included hitting a club at 1am with groups of friends.

Speaking to British Vogue, Nicole revealed her love of dancing with friends and how she attended new pal Charli xcx's New York Brat show.

When asked what her Ibiza holiday looks like, Nicole said: 'It's a small dinner party or it's a rave. I'm either playing Scrabble or I'm out. It's that simple.'

She added details about what the rave option entails: 'Dinner at 10.30pm, club at 1am. I'll put on glasses.

'Sometimes I'll wear a wig to hide, a little dark wig, and then I can just dance. As long as I'm surrounded by people – like, I take people with me – then I'm fine. I need it.'

Charli xcx revealed: 'She came to my show in New York when I was on the Brat tour. I couldn't believe she came. Like the Nicole Kidman is at my show… what the f*ck?'

In a 2024 People interview, Nicole described herself as shy and not particularly extroverted, but said she'll go to a rave because she wants to 'lose it' dancing.

But she did also contrast that with her preference for small, intimate dinner parties or hanging at friends' houses, which reflected her words to British Vogue.

Soon after the 2024 GQ Men of the Year event, when Amelia Dimoldenberg asked whether she meant a warehouse rave, Nicole told her yes, explaining that she's 'a person of extremes' and is into techno specifically.

In a 2017 interview, Nicole talked about how deeply music affects her emotionally and how being married to musician Keith Urban meant music was constantly present at home.

Elsewhere in the new British Vogue interview, Nicole spoke openly about how she is feeling following her split from her husband of 19 years Keith.

She reflected on how she has approached this 'new chapter' of being single as she looks to the future with an 'open heart'.

Nicole said she takes a 'feelings-centred' approach to decisions and leads with her heart, admitting she suspects people will think she is 'more measured'.

She said: 'I can still approach things intellectually. But my desire is not to be ruled by my head, I've always wanted to live a well-examined life, so what does that entail?

'Trying things, making mistakes, failing, getting back up, moving on, embracing love, staying open, keeping the heart open and the possibilities.'

However, Nicole went on to say that she has had to adapt because how her life has panned out hasn't been how she expected it to.

She said: 'But at the same time I'm like, "OK, I didn't expect this. I had a different view of what my life was going to be, but this is what it is now." You make all these plans and you have all these ideas of what it's all going to be like and then it's…not. You have to adjust. You adapt. The future, it's completely unknown to me right now.'

Her response when asked if it was scary too: 'There was a point where I was very fearful and deeply vulnerable, which is exposing.

'And then at the same time I'm going, "Well, I can either really not confront it and just curl up, or I can just go forward with an enormous amount of hope".'

Nicole and Keith have two daughters, Sunday, 18, and Faith, 15. She also adopted Isabella, 33, and Connor, 31, with her ex-husband Tom Cruise.
