The Andhra Pradesh Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (APSPDCL) became the first among the Discoms in the State to launch a new system for group electricity services, specifically for the bulk customers with multiple service connections under a single name.

The system has been developed through its website, allowing a single consumer to pay electricity bills for multiple services at once with a single click.

Until now, bulk consumers having multiple services, such as the TTD, the municipal corporation, mobile towers, dairy units and other private players, had to select each service connection separately for payment of the respective bills, which was considered to be a complicated and tedious process

“The new system prevents this tiresome and repetitive task by providing a single login, through which the consumers can register and pay all their bills,” said APSPDCL Chairman and Managing Director Siva Sankar Lotheti. He said that the company believed in simplifying processes and offered to expand digital services further.
