CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — Combined damage to agriculture across Oriental Mindoro from tropical cyclones Luis and Maymay and the enhanced southwest monsoon has risen to P56 million (P56,003,224.24) as of Thursday (August 13), the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) said. PDRRMO Head Vinscent Gahol said the heaviest losses were recorded in Naujan town at P26,391,770.50, covering rice, corn, lowland vegetables, calamansi, and root crops.
