VALENCIA CITY, Bukidnon — Authorities suspended classes across all public and private schools at all levels in the municipality of Talakag, Bukidnon, on Friday due to dangerous heat index levels threatening the region. The suspension was officially confirmed by Talakag Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) chief Rey Dan Gayao, following an order issued by Talakag Mayor Renato Sulatan. “The safety, health, and well-being of our learners, teachers, and staff remain our top priority,” Mayor Sulatan stated, advising residents to stay indoors, rest, avoid prolonged sun exposure, and stay hydrated.
