Cardi B is back with a new single titled “AH HA.” The rapper is quickly following up her sophomore album Am I the Drama?, which arrived in September of last year after quite the long wait.

Am I the Drama? was separated from Cardi’s debut full-length, Invasion of Privacy, by more than seven years. Whether the Grammy winner will continue to dole out standalone tunes for the next half-decade or so before sharing another project, or perhaps speed things up and drop another album in the coming year or two, remains to be seen.

For the moment, “AH HA” is a quick win on a number of Billboard charts. Cardi almost nabs another No. 1 bestseller, but the biggest hit of 2026 keeps her from the throne.

Cardi B Debuts Her New Single at No. 2

“AH HA” debuts at No. 2 on the Digital Song Sales chart, making it the second-bestselling track in the United States this week. The single launches with 8,000 copies sold on digital storefronts like iTunes, according to Luminate in the country.

Ella Langley Blocks Cardi B From No. 1

“AH HA” is blocked from becoming a No. 1 by Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas.” That country smash returns to the highest space after being replaced last week by Morgan Wallen’s “Been By Now.” His new single falls to No. 6 in its second frame, while “Choosin’ Texas” steps up just one space and regains control of the purchase-focused roster.

Cardi B Scores Her Twenty-Sixth Top 10

Cardi misses out on her ninth No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart by only one slot, but she does collect her twenty-sixth top 10 as “AH HA” arrives. The rapper has now sent 49 tunes to the roster throughout her career, though a number of them appeared when the tally featured 50 spaces. These days, it has been shortened to 25 positions.

“AH HA” becomes Cardi’s fifth track to peak at No. 2. It joins “Finesse” with Bruno Mars, “Rumors” with Lizzo, “Tomorrow 2” with GloRilla and “Put It on da Floor Again,” a team-up with Latto. All of those tracks stalled in second place in different years, beginning in 2018.

Ella Langley Makes Sales History Again

As “Choosin’ Texas” rules again, the country cut makes history. Langley’s smash has now led the Digital Song Sales chart for 14 frames, making it only the sixth track ever to reach that total.

Recently, it matched Flo Rida and T-Pain’s “Low,” “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars, and “Closer” by The Chainsmokers and Halsey, as all four smashes had topped the list for a lucky 13 frames. Now, “Choosin’ Texas” has pulled ahead of all of them.

If Langley can control the roster again when Billboard refreshes its rankings – which seems entirely plausible, though not guaranteed – the single will match Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” and tie as the fifth-longest-running leader of all time.

Cardi B Debuts on 12 Billboard Charts

“AH HA” debuts on 12 Billboard charts this week, and it launches inside the top 10 on five of them. In addition to opening at No. 2 on the Digital Song Sales roster, the single coincidentally debuts at No. 3 on three lists: the Hot Rap Songs, R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs and Rap Streaming Songs rankings. Cardi’s latest is new at No. 5 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs tally this frame.

Those arrivals add considerably to Cardi’s already impressive career totals. She reaches a milestone 30 top 10s on the Hot Rap Songs ranking, while “AH HA” becomes her sixty-fifth overall appearance on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, the most all-encompassing list of the most-consumed R&B, hip-hop and rap tracks in the nation.

“AH HA” also opens at No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100, No. 21 on the Streaming Songs chart and No. 95 on the Billboard Global 200. On the radio side, it debuts on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, Rap Airplay, Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and Rhythmic Airplay charts, as stations in the nation have been quick to put it into rotation.
