The head of state said this in his nightly video address, according to Ukrinform.
"Today, there were many issues discussed, specifically military matters. Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Drapatyi gave a briefing, and we identified steps and means to strengthen the Sloviansk and Kostiantynivka fronts," Zelensky said.

He thanked the units that are destroying Russian forces, repelling Russian assaults and preventing the enemy from "infiltrating" Ukrainian positions.
"I expect that now, in August, there will be at least 30,000 occupiers destroyed," he said.
Russia's total combat losses since the start of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, through August 14, 2026, stand at approximately 1,464,440 troops, including 1,470 killed or wounded on August 13.
