Russian forces attacked two energy facilities in two border communities of the Chernihiv region over the past day.

According to Ukrinform, Head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration Viacheslav Chaus reported this on Telegram.

"Over the past day, the Russians used Gerbera drones to attack energy facilities in two border communities," Chaus wrote.

He added that the town of Semenivka also came under attack. Russian forces used Gerbera drones and a Molniya drone, setting outbuildings on fire.

In a village in the Nizhyn district, a drone attack ignited 23 hectares of wheat, but firefighters extinguished the blaze.

In the town of Mena, a Geran drone struck a food processing enterprise overnight, damaging one of its buildings.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, parts of the city of Chernihiv and two districts of the Chernihiv region were left without electricity after a Russian attack damaged an energy facility.
