Milma’s Thiruvananthapuram Regional Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union (TRCMPU) said it has paid out ₹3.66 crore as Onam incentive to farmers and milk cooperative societies. Farmers affiliated to milk societies under TRCMPU in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta and Alappuzha districts have benefitted from the decision.

Milk societies were provided an additional incentive of ₹5 on every litre of milk procured in July 2026. Out of this, ₹3 went to the farmers, ₹1 to the milk societies while ₹1 was deposited as additional share of the societies, TRCMPU administrator Sinila Unnikrishnan said.
