“I want to ask Home Minister Priyank Kharge, who has been raising such issues, about the progress of development schemes in the Kalyan Karnataka region. Is the Kalyan Karnataka Region Development Board working properly? Have you been able to stop mass migration of labour from Kalyan Karnataka region? What are you doing about the distress being faced by the weavers of Bagalkot and other districts?” he asked.
He said that the State government is not serious about drought mitigation. "Ministers are busy visiting fields and taking pictures. They are playing with the lives of poor farmers,” he said.
"Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar has announced AI based learning from sixth standard. I would like to ask him to focus on fundamental problems of schools. There are no teachers, no facilities like drinking water and toilets. The State government has been promising recruitment for Karnataka Public Schools and recruitment of 15,000 schoolteachers over three years. But there has been no action. What steps will you take to keep these promises,” he asked.
