Actor Raghav Juyal has spoken about the viral video of him shielding fellow actor Shehnaaz Gill from a crowd of fans and photographers at his birthday celebration. He said his instinct in such situations is to protect the woman accompanying him. Addressing the moment, the actor-dancer said his response was shaped by the values he was raised with.

A video from Raghav's birthday celebration showed him helping Shehnaaz navigate a crowd of fans and photographers outside the venue. The moment quickly drew attention online, with many viewers commenting on their chemistry and reigniting dating rumours surrounding the two actors.

Raghav and Shehnaaz have been linked since working together in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Speaking to Pinkvilla, Raghav said he did not see anything unusual about his actions and that he would have reacted similarly if any woman with him needed help in such a situation.

"I was raised by my parents to be a man. If I saw a group of men bothering a woman, I would step in because that's how I was brought up. I was never raised to ignore such situations. I am taught that I can give an old fat punch to that person. I will protect till my death. Whether it's you or any other woman, if she's with me, my instinct is to protect her. That's simply my nature, and it will never change," he said.

The Kill actor said his parents had taught him to stand up for his friends and family, look out for his sister and treat women with respect. He also acknowledged that people may have different views on such situations, but said he believes in maintaining a balance between one's softer and stronger sides.

"If I see any woman being harassed, I can't ignore it. I know how to handle such situations. At that moment, I don't think about my celebrity image or what people will say. I only think about doing what I believe is right," Raghav added.

Raghav also spoke about his understanding of love, describing it as a feeling that cannot always be easily explained. He said people experience it differently, but for him, love brings peace, happiness and calm.

While the viral video has fuelled fresh speculation about his relationship with Shehnaaz, Raghav has not confirmed whether the two are dating.

On the work front, Raghav is gearing up for the release of The Paradise, starring Nani. He will also headline the upcoming film Bhai Tera Star Hai.
