Vince Hawksworth has been appointed as the new chair of telecommunications company Spark, to succeed Justine Smyth later this year.

Hawksworth, who has been a non-executive director of Spark since October 2025, has extensive experience in the utility and infrastructure sectors, having previously led Mercury Energy and Trustpower.
