Rochester, NY – August 18, 2026 – Eoptic, Inc., a developer of advanced multi-spectral and multi-modal imaging systems, today announced it has been selected as an approved supplier in support of strategic space imaging initiatives. The agreement marks a significant expansion of Eoptic’s Space Systems Division and reinforces the company’s growing role in delivering advanced sensing capabilities for national security and space domain awareness missions. The first milestone: multiple payloads being delivered early 2027 and launched in the following months.
DeepScan™ is a family of compact, modular space imaging payloads built for mission flexibility. Enhanced spectral capability comes in a package sized for spacecraft from CubeSat to ESPA class, with configurations tailored to the mission — with options for space domain awareness (SDA), high-resolution Earth observation, and missile tracking and warning. The result is the size, weight, power, and cost profile that proliferated constellations require. More importantly, a product that can transition from mission-need to orbit in months, not years.
“Being selected to supply DeepScan imaging payloads for upcoming space missions is a meaningful milestone for our team and a reflection of the hard work we’ve invested in making the technology mission-ready,” said Pano Spiliotis, CEO of Eoptic, Inc. “We’ve focused on developing scalable imaging solutions that perform in the most demanding environments, and we’re proud to support strategic customers delivering next-generation space sensing capabilities. With launches planned for 2027 and production ramping in 2028, we’re entering an exciting new chapter for both DeepScan and Eoptic’s Space Systems Division — delivering the speed and scale that proliferated (PLEO) architectures demand, for our current and future partners.”
