If your “goodnight” routine was met with silence last night, you’re not alone. Google’s Nest Hub devices were hit with a widespread outage that broke functionality entirely, but it’s all back in action this morning.

As made clear by a plethora of reports on Reddit, Google’s Nest Hub devices were hit with a widespread outside late last night, around 12-3am ET as far as we can tell.

The outage caused voice commands not to be processed, routines not to run, and, in some cases, screens to just go completely blank. One user rebooted their device only to find it stuck in the boot-up screen, never fully jumping into the usual Nest Hub experience. The issue was fixed not too long after reports started popping up, though.

Google hasn’t offered any details on what caused the problem but, hopefully, things are resolved so it won’t happen again.

If you’re still having problems with your Nest Hub, give it a quick reboot.
