The UAE's defence ministry said on Tuesday that Iran targeted its terrority with two ballistic missiles, after reports that the country issued a missile threat alert earlier.

In a post to X, the ministry said that air defences “detected two ballistic missiles launched from Iran toward the country, with the first falling outside the country’s territorial waters, while the second fell within the territorial waters”.

The statement added that the country is on high alert and ready to deal with any threats.
