According to Ukrinform, Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, announced this on Telegram.

“Six more children from the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region have returned to territory controlled by Ukraine. They are four girls and two boys aged 10 to 17,” the message states.

It is noted that the return took place with the assistance of the charity organization Save Ukraine as part of the presidential initiative “Bring Kids Back UA.”

The children are currently safe and receiving all necessary assistance.

“This return is another step toward bringing our children back home, where they can be with their families and free from Russian occupation,” Prokudin emphasized.

According to him, since the beginning of 2026, 157 children have already been returned from the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region.

As reported by Ukrinform, Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Olena Kondratiuk stated that 42% of the individuals against whom Ukraine has imposed sanctions in connection with crimes against Ukrainian children are not included on foreign sanctions lists.
