Susanna Reid turned heads in a relaxed, beach-ready outfit when the Good Morning Britain host crashed a day rave in Ibiza yesterday. The ITV journalist, 55, swapped her formal dresses and suits for denim shorts and a plunging black swimsuit that perfectly accentuated her curves as fans said she was 'looking sensational'.

And it appears that the result of her toned and svelte physique is neither gruelling gym workouts nor restrictive eating, but rather a more relaxed fitness philosophy.

In her 50s, the broadcaster has swapped intense weightlifting sessions and long runs for an achievable routine that helps her stay consistent, as well as following a simple, pescatarian diet plan that has largely remained unchanged since 2017.

Susanna, who went teetotal eight years ago, detailed her low-maintenance regime in an interview with Woman & Home last month, explaining: 'I don’t want to criticise myself, I don’t want to beat myself up – I don’t think women should.'

Instead of spending hours on an elliptical bike or going for Zumba classes, Susanna has found that walking two miles a day helps her keep fit despite the early call times and pressures of her GMB job.

She also completes a 10-minute YouTube workout 'before I get in the shower'.

Susanna, who wakes up at 3.35 am, said her exercise routine has changed considerably over the years, admitting 'I don't have the energy' for strenuous workouts at the gym or long runs any more.

The ITV star recently spent the day at a beach club in Ibiza while rallying support for GMB to win a National Television Award

'I used to go to the gym and run a lot. I would run marathons, 10ks and Park Runs, but I don’t do that anymore, so I have to keep my body moving,' she explained.

'I am quite disciplined about that, but it is not three gym sessions a week.'

The mother-of-three also prioritises getting a 'decent chunk of sleep' and uses the trendy Oura fitness tracker to hit her seven-hour goal, including a daily nap between 12 and 2pm.

Susanna, who gave up drinking nearly eight years ago, previously told Asda Good Living that she typically starts her day with black coffee and apples with peanut butter, but eats a second breakfast after filming Good Morning Britain.

'My second breakfast is always rye toast, poached eggs and avocado,' she said in 2025. 'Once I’m off air, I’m ravenous!'

The glamorous journalist follows a pescatarian diet, meaning she avoids all meat products except fish. She was a vegetarian until she fell pregnant with her first child, son Sam, with ex-partner Dominic Cotton.

The star has openly documented her weight loss journey since 2018, when her GP told her she was close to tipping into an overweight BMI (body mass index).

By the following March, Susanna had dropped a stone and a half after quitting booze and cutting down on her snacking.

Speaking to Lorraine Kelly at the time, she said: 'I went to a doctor because I just wanted to ask him about skin problems, and he said I recommend two things.

'One is you stop drinking or cut down on drinking, and one is you lose some weight because you are at the top end of your BMI.

'It can creep up without noticing, I cut out snacking, I found waking up so early in the morning and you're in energy deficit and all your body can think is to have toast, have biscuits, and you can pile it one really.'

In June 2022, the TV presenter candidly admitted that she found it difficult to shift the weight she gained during the Covid lockdown when gyms across the country were shut.

Speaking to Joe Wicks on Good Morning Britain, Susanna thanked the fitness influencer for 'keeping us all fit' with his home workouts, but confessed she struggled despite the abundance of online resources.

However, Susanna shed the pounds by November 2022, when she confidently showed off her incredible figure in glamorous, form-fitting dresses for a magazine shoot.

Nearly four years later, the ITV star looked just as comfortable in her body as she spent the day at a beach club in Ibiza while rallying support for GMB to win a National Television Award.

The GMB host, 55, took the opportunity to ask viewers to vote for her breakfast show while wearing a black swimsuit at O Beach Club in Ibiza.

Susanna looked incredible in the plunging one-piece, which she wore with a pair of denim shorts and a silk scarf tied as a belt around her waist.

Susanna FaceTimed the show live from her holiday on Tuesday, as she revealed how she had spent yesterday at a day rave at the famous beach club.

Susanna, who was wearing a pink shirt, sunglasses and festival wristbands, joked: 'Normally what happens in Ibiza stays in Ibiza but this morning I am on special duty for GMB.'

She continued: 'We are absolutely the best daytime. By the way, yesterday I was at one of the best daytime clubs in Ibiza – other daytime clubs are available – and I had a little heads-up.

'They had the lovely women out doing the placards … I think you have a photograph.'

The TV presenter was standing in front of a group of white swimsuit clad women, who were holding up orange boards which spelt out 'Vote GMB'.

Susanna later reshared her appearance on the show on her Instagram Story and dubbed herself 'Raver Reid'.
