The US military said Thursday the USS George Washington, previously operating in the Pacific, has arrived in the Middle East region to relieve the USS Abraham Lincoln, which had been deployed since November 2025. Reports of degraded living conditions aboard the relieved vessel had contributed to criticism of Donald Trump's war against Iran.
