The PC gaming industry has seen major price hikes on so many components, but at least OLED gaming monitors aren't one of them. For a limited time, Newegg via its official AliExpress storefront is offering the premium 27" ASRock Phantom QHD 240Hz QD-OLED gaming monitor for just $279 with free shipping. You'll need to be signed into your account to activate this discount. It ships directly from Newegg's warehouse in the United States and should be delivered within the week.

27" AsRock Phantom 240Hz QD-OLED Gaming Monitor for $279

The ASRock Phantom PGO27QSA is a 27" QD-OLED monitor with 2560x1440 resolution, which equates to a pixel density of 109ppi. It's sharp enough for both gaming and general workstation use with excellent text clarity. This monitor is equipped with Samsung's quantum dot (QD) OLED panel. A QD OLED panel is brighter and has a wider color gamut than the more commonly found W-OLED panel. OLED monitors in general offer superior image quality compared to other monitors thanks to a combination of instantaneous response time, true black levels, and near-infinite contrast ratio.

Most "budget" OLED monitors have a native 120Hz-165Hz refresh rate, but the ASRock Phantom blows them out of the water with native 240Hz refresh rate. This makes it an excellent option for first person shooters, sports games, or any other game that involves high-speed motion or requires twitch-like reflexes. You'll need to make sure you have an appropriate graphics card to achieve 240fps on a QHD monitor, ideally something like an RTX 5070 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT, although an RTX 5070 should be able to hit this target in older games like Fortnite, Apex Legends, Counter-Strike, or Valorant. It's not G-Sync validated, but it does support FreeSync, which means it should work in compatibility mode.

Finally, the ASRock Phantom includes a 2 year warranty that should be honored since you're purchasing it from Newegg, which is an authorized ASRock reseller.
