LUGANSK, August 23. /TASS/. Kiev is deploying elite units to stabilize the front in Dobropolye, Donetsk People's Republic, where the Ukrainian army is panicking because of the advance of Russian forces, military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS.
"Although there is panic-ridden sentiment within the ranks of Ukraine’s armed formations in Dobropolye, the Ukrainian command is doing everything it can to stabilize the situation. To this end, the best-trained, elite units are being sent here so that they can control secondary units and units made up of forcibly mobilized people," he said.
Earlier, he told TASS that the Russian military, having liberated Krasnopodolye, is cutting off the Ukrainian army grouping on the southern borders of the city of Dobropolye. According to him, with control over Krasnopodolye, Russian fighters can advance on Dobropolye from the south and northwest.
