According to Ukrinform, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this on Facebook.

He said that he and Finnish President Alexander Stubb participated in a roundtable discussion on Ukrainian-Finnish cooperation in the defense industry.

“Today we are taking another step toward deepening our cooperation by combining Ukrainian combat experience with Finnish technology. Our companies have signed agreements on the development and manufacture in Finland of drones for the needs of Ukraine and Europe, the expansion of capabilities in the field of unmanned maritime systems, and the establishment of a company to produce ground-based robotic systems,” Zelensky stated.

He emphasized that “on these important dates—National Flag Day and the eve of Independence Day—we especially feel the value of true friendship.”

Zelensky expressed his gratitude to Stubb, the government, Finnish businesses, and the entire Finnish people for standing with Ukraine since the very first days of this war.
