Israeli forces kill three Palestinians in Gaza, shoot child dead in Nablus
A 14-year-old Palestinian was shot dead by Israeli forces during a raid on a refugee camp east of Nablus on Sunday, as Israeli military operations and settler attacks continued across the occupied West Bank and air strikes killed at least three Palestinians in central Gaza.
The Palestinian child was shot in the chest during an Israeli raid on the Askar refugee camp, Al Jazeera reported, quoting a medical source.
In central Gaza, two Palestinians were killed and seven others wounded in an Israeli attack on the Nuseirat refugee camp and the town of az-Zawayda, Al Jazeera reported, quoting a source at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
A separate Israeli air strike along Salah al-Din Street in central Gaza killed one Palestinian and wounded two others, Wafa news agency reported, citing medical sources.
The violence comes despite a US-brokered ceasefire that took effect in October 2025. The truce has remained fragile as Israeli air strikes and military operations have continued.
More than 1,280 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since the ceasefire began, according to local health officials, while the Israeli military says four Israeli soldiers have been killed during the same period.
In Tulkarm, Israeli forces raided the city centre late Saturday and fired live ammunition and stun grenades at residents, Wafa reported.
Soldiers detained five Palestinians after raiding homes in the towns of Zeita and Seida, according to the agency.
In Tubas, Palestine Red Crescent Society teams treated 11 people, including four children, for tear gas inhalation during an Israeli raid on the city.
In the nearby town of Tammun, southeast of Tubas, Israeli settlers assaulted a 15-year-old Palestinian boy, the Red Crescent said. Its teams treated the boy after he was severely beaten.
Israeli forces also sealed off the only remaining entrance to al-Mughayyir village, northeast of Ramallah, on Sunday morning, preventing residents from entering or leaving, according to local media reports.
Commuters were harassed and interrogated by Israeli soldiers, who fired tear gas at vehicles attempting to pass through the entrance, the report said.
In the Nablus area, Israeli soldiers arrested a Palestinian and seized two vehicles after raiding Beita, Tal and Beit Dajan.
East of Bethlehem, Israeli settlers uprooted olive and grape plantations from Palestinian land in the village of al-Maniya, according to Wafa.
Meanwhile, the siege of Qusra, south of Nablus, entered its 15th consecutive day, with settlers continuing to surround three homes in the Ras al-Ain area, Wafa reported.
Israeli soldiers prevented residents from entering or leaving the area, while the three besieged families were running low on water after settlers blocked roads and prevented deliveries, the agency said.
The latest attacks come amid continuing Israeli military operations across Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
At least 73,419 Palestinians have been killed and 174,364 others wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 2023.
