SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) distributed sports quota certificates to 278 students at a ceremony on Friday. A sports hostel, a dedicated facility designed to support high-performance athletes integrating sports excellence and academic achievements, was also inaugurated on the occasion.

Aadhav Arjuna, Minister for Public Works and Sports Development, gave away the certificates in the presence of T.R. Paarivendhar, Founder Chancellor, SRMIST, Ravi Pachamuthu, Pro-Chancellor (Administration), SRMIST, and P. Sathyanarayanan, Pro-Chancellor (Academics), SRMIST, among others.
