According to Ukrinform, the National Police of Ukraine reported the findings on Telegram.

"Police explosives experts have preliminarily established that the Russians attacked the supermarket with a jet-powered drone equipped with a video camera, indicating that the strike on the civilian site was deliberate," the statement said.

According to the police, the attack killed a 23-year-old woman and a 10-year-old girl. Preliminary information indicates that 20 people were injured, including a 10-year-old boy.

The strike damaged the supermarket building, a vehicle service station, and several cars.

Law enforcement officers are documenting the aftermath of the attack, recording the damage, and collecting evidence of war crime committed by Russian invading forces.

As reported by Ukrinform, a Russian drone struck a supermarket in Chernihiv on July 26, killing two people, including a child. July 27 has been declared a Day of Mourning in the city.
