Gwendoline Soriano says Binibining Pilipinas win a ‘miracle’
Binibining Pilipinas International 2026 Gwendoline Soriano sees her recent feat as a “miracle,” underscoring how she held onto her dream for four years and how she fulfilled it through God’s grace.
Soriano penned a letter of gratitude to those who have played a significant part in her pageant journey, through her Instagram page on Sunday, July 26.
“Do you believe in miracles? Because I do. Who would have thought that ‘believing in the beauty of my dreams’ and choosing to remain ‘faithful’ would lead me to this very moment,” she said. “As I look back on the little girl who simply loved performing on stage, and on every challenge, setback, and heartbreak that shaped me along the way, I can’t help but stand in awe of how my miracle-working God writes the most beautiful stories.”

“I am only here because of Him, and I will never stop boasting of His goodness,” she stressed.
The beauty queen from Baguio dedicated her win to her late father, then expressed her gratitude to her mother for being her source of strength. She also thanked her glam team, her sponsors and partners, designers, and Bb. Pilipinas family for their generosity and belief in her.
“If there’s one thing this journey has taught me, it’s that God often answers our prayers through people. To everyone who poured your time, talents, prayers, and love into this dream, thank you. This crown may rest on my head, but it carries pieces of all of you,” she stated.
Soriano paid tribute as well to her Binibini sisters, saying it was a privilege to have shared the journey with such “beautiful souls.”
She also made a mention of her partner whom she called “bebi,” thanking him for being a blessing to her. “I’m so grateful that I get to do life with someone who loves so selflessly and reflects God’s love so beautifully.”

Toward the latter part of her post, Soriano shared a photo of her crowning moment alongside a screenshot of her post from 2022, when she first joined the national pageant.
“A dream, four years in the making,” she said.

Soriano, who was crowned during the finals night last July 18, is set to represent the country in the 2027 Miss International pageant. /edv
