Thalapathy Vijayâs much awaited film âJana Nayaganâ which was initially set to release in January finally hit the big screens on July 23 after the actor turned politician took the CMâs chair of Tamil Nadu. The film has seen a solid theatrical release as the worldwide collections have already crossed the Rs 200 crore mark. Letâs take a look at the filmâs live number on its fifth day.

As the film enters its first weekday on Monday, a slight drop in its daily box office collection can be observed.
As per the live estimates shared by trade analyst Sacnilk, âJana Nayaganâ is currently running across 4,157 shows with 16.7% occupancy and has collected a net of Rs 1.49 crore as of now.
âJana Nayaganâ has taken its total India net collection to Rs 126.24 crore. The film's India gross collection has also climbed to Rs 147.74 crore.
âJana Nayaganâ collections across different languages
The live numbers of the Tamil version shows that it has made Rs 1.27 crore with 2,040 shows. The numbers tracking website further reveals that âJana Nayaganâ had an overall occupancy of 24.62% today in the morning.
On the other hand, the Hindi version made Rs 14 lakh with 1,589 shows.
However, the numbers had a low tally among the Telugu audience as it recorded Rs 8 lakh in 528 shows.
âJana Nayaganâ overseas collection
The movie is also performing well in the overseas markets. According to the trade analyst site, âJana Nayaganâ made Rs 10 crore on Day 4 which brought its total overseas gross to Rs 71.50 crore till the weekend. The filmâs worldwide collection remained Rs 217.48 crore till Sunday.
Speaking of âJana Nayaganâ, the film marks a special movie for Vijay fans as it is his last cinematic outing as he focuses his career in politics.
Directed by H Vinoth, the film is a political action drama which stars Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, Bobby Deol, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain, Priyamani and Sunil in key roles.
