LUCENA CITY – Police arrested 13 men allegedly involved in the illegal siphoning of fuel and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in an operation conducted on Monday. The Calabarzon police said its men caught the suspects in the act while allegedly siphoning fuel from four tanker trucks inside a compound in Barangay Silangang Mayao at around 4:20 p.m. Authorities said they discovered several Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) filled with siphoned diesel fuel estimated at P412,500, along with various siphoning tools and equipment.
