Sarah Geronimo, Matteo Guidicelli joined by Cardinal Tagle for her birthday

Aside from her reuniting with her parents, Sarah Geronimo and her husband Matteo Guidicelli marked her 38th birthday by hosting an intimate celebration attended by Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle.

Geronimo and Guidicelli, along with his family, shared a meal with the cardinal at the latter’s restaurant, as seen on the actor’s Instagram page on Monday, July 27. Tagle was also seen blessing the family’s religious items during the gathering.

“A beautiful evening celebrating Sarah’s birthday, surrounded by family, made even more meaningful by the presence of Cardinal Tagle,” Guidicelli said.

Addressing Tagle, he added, “Thank you, Your Eminence, for sharing the Word with us and guiding us with your wisdom. Salamat po.”

This is not the first time the couple has met the cardinal, as they also met and received his blessing in 2025.

In a separate post, Guidicelli also greeted his wife, showing glimpses of their treasured moments with loved ones and friends.

“Happy birthday my love! This will be the best year ever,” he wrote.

Sarah’s earlier reunion with her parents Delfin and Divine Geronimo came after their falling-out that stemmed from the actress-singer’s secret wedding to Guidicelli in 2020. /ra
