ROSTOV-ON-DON, July 28. /TASS/. Real estate prices in southern Russia will continue to grow by another 10-15% due to logistics issues and the increasing cost of construction materials, said real estate market expert and founder of the New&Now agency Olga Nart.
"No matter how challenging the situation may be, we understand that real estate prices will continue to rise by an average of 10-15%, according to my estimates. This is driven by the cost of materials, new supply conditions we find ourselves facing in 2026, labor costs, and other factors," she said during a roundtable discussion at the TASS South regional information center in Rostov-on-Don.
In the long term, the housing most in demand among buyers will be that built using the integrated territory development mechanism as everyone needs a comfortable living environment and social infrastructure, the expert noted.
"I believe the primary task for developers in the coming years will be to create projects, residential complexes and neighborhoods, which young people and families, in particular, will not want to leave," she stressed.
In her view, the primary driver of the industry’s development will be the continued reduction of the key interest rate and the availability of standard mortgage programs.
