Before we get into today’s updates, a reminder of what we learned yesterday, after the evidence of Queensland Health director-general David Rosengren.

Reports from the ABC last month highlighted the lack of First Nations directors in the state’s two largest hospital and health services.

Yesterday, Rosengren claimed the lack of legally required First Nations members on three hospital service boards was the result of “unscheduled vacancies” after a major overhaul of all 16 HHS boards.

As we report though, those departures were all either forced or known in advance.

(They also come amid accusations the Crisafulli LNP has sought to unpick Indigenous representation and policies in a push dubbed “Project Invisibility”.)
