TACLOBAN CITY – The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) clarified on Wednesday that it does not charge electricity consumers for transmission technical system loss, following President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s call during his fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA) to remove system loss charges from consumers’ electricity bills.
