JP Nadda reviews preparedness for NEET UG counselling 2026

NEW DELHI: In a major reform, the Centre has introduced one-time physical reporting for NEET-UG counselling, ending repeated visits to allotted medical colleges for candidates seeking a seat upgrade.

The reforms were reviewed by Union health minister J P Nadda on Wednesday ahead of the start of NEETUG counselling.

If they get a better seat, the earlier one will be released to another candidate. If not, they will retain their original seat.â
