According to Ukrinform, Lviv Regional Military Administration head Maksym Kozytskyi reported the attack on Telegram.

"According to preliminary information, two apartment buildings in Lviv were damaged in the missile attack. Rescue workers are on the scene," Kozytskyi wrote.

He later updated the situation, saying reports of casualties had begun to come in.

"Reports of injured people are being received. Rescue workers and medics are providing assistance," he said.

Later, Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi said that, according to preliminary information, six people had been injured in the Russian attack at two locations across the city.

According to earlier reports, during Russia's overnight attack, missiles reached Ukraine's western regions. Explosions were heard in Lviv, while Ukrainian air defense forces were engaged in repelling the attack.
