Wallen had to wait several weeks before “Don’t We” could conquer the Country Airplay chart, as it remained stuck behind Jason Aldean’s “Don’t Tell on Me,” another smash that helped the musician behind it advance on the ranking of artists with the most leaders. Now Wallen takes over — and he may soon earn yet another winner, as he currently blocks himself from reaching No. 1 with a different tune at the same time.

As “Don’t We” conquers the Country Airplay chart, another one of Wallen’s recent singles advances directly behind it. “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” his collaboration with Ella Langley, pushes one space from No. 3 to No. 2, establishing a new all-time high.
Wallen occupies the top two positions on the country radio ranking at the same time. “Don’t We” reaches the summit during its twenty-first week on the tally – coincidentally becoming his twenty-first leader – while “I Can’t Love You Anymore” improves to the runner-up rung in its thirteenth frame.
Morgan Wallen Earns His Twenty-First No. 1
“Don’t We” is now Wallen’s twenty-first champion on the Country Airplay chart. This latest victory moves him into a new position among the artists that have scored the most champions in the history of the roster.
Before “Don’t We” reached the summit, Wallen was matched with Brad Paisley and Luke Combs, as all three country superstars had accumulated an even 20 No. 1 hits. Paisley and Combs remain steady with that sum, while Wallen moves ahead.
With 21 champions, Wallen is now tied with Keith Urban and Thomas Rhett. The three musicians jointly claim the eighth-most rulers ever on the Country Airplay chart.

Morgan Wallen May Break His New Tie Quickly
Wallen may not remain tied with Urban and Rhett for long. If “Don’t We” steps aside in the coming weeks and “I Can’t Love You Anymore” advances by only one space, he will score his twenty-second Country Airplay leader. That push would allow Wallen to break the match he has only just established. With 22 champions, he would stand alone with the eighth-most No. 1 hits in the history of the tally, while Urban and Rhett would jointly fall to ninth place.
Morgan Wallen Turns Almost Every Top 10 Into a No. 1
“I Can’t Love You Anymore” is currently Wallen’s only track to peak at No. 2 on the Country Airplay chart. It is also one of only three among his 24 top 10 hits that have not made it all the way to the summit. “Everything I Love” stopped at No. 3, while “One Thing at a Time” climbed as high as No. 8.
Ella Langley Is Looking for a Fifth No. 1
Langley has reached the runner-up position on the Country Airplay chart before. Her solo single “Weren’t for the Wind” missed the summit by one space last summer.
The singer-songwriter has already collected four No. 1 hits on the ranking and is looking for her fifth. “Choosin’ Texas” and “Be Her” both conquered the roster this year.
In December of 2025, “Don’t Mind If I Do,” one of Langley’s multiple collaborations with Riley Green, spent one frame at the summit. Their first team-up, “You Look Like You Love Me,” also ran the show for a single period a year prior.
