Fire and Emergency New Zealand has once again reminded the public to be “extra careful” as the industrial dispute with professional firefighters continues.

The New Zealand Professional Firefighters Union (NZPFU) will go on strike for the 50th time today – something it has labelled a “ridiculous situation”.
