Katrina Llegado of the Philippines is Miss Supranational 2026

Filipinos welcomed August by asserting the Philippines’ status as an international pageant powerhouse with Katrina Llegado clinching the Miss Supranational title in Poland.

The model, entrepreneur, and military reservist became only the second Filipino woman to win the title at the conclusion of the competition held in Nowy Sacz, Poland, on July 31 (Aug. 1 in Manila).

Llegado edged out 66 other aspirants from around the world to inherit the crown from last year’s winner, Eduarda Braum from Brazil. Before her victory, the Philippines posted its first Miss Supranational win in 2013 courtesy of Mutya Datul.

During the final round of the competition, she was asked about “the moment you stopped trying to become the woman the world expected, and started becoming the woman you’re really meant to be.”

Llegado responded: “I always believe that we should never fit into a mold. We are perfectly imperfect. I am someone who struggles [with] perfection, but I am here today doing my best, and becoming my best version. And here in Miss Supranational, I know I belong. I know a place for me, and this is becoming Supra, above and beyond.”

This was not her first international competition. The De La Salle University graduate from Taguig City had earlier represented the Philippines at the 2019 Reina Hispanoamericana pageant in Bolivia, where she was proclaimed Quinta Finalista (fifth runner-up).

Llegado earned her ticket to the 2026 Miss Supranational pageant more than a year ago after landing in the finals of the 2025 Miss Universe Philippines pageant won by Ahtisa Manalo.

She had already crowned her successor as Miss Supranational Philippines in May, Allyson Hetland from Pampanga who finished in the Top 7 of the 2026 Miss Universe Philippines pageant.

Finishing as first runner-up to Llegado at the Miss Supranational pageant was another seasoned contender, France’s Eve Gilles who was a semifinalist at the 74th Miss Universe pageant.
